Gosainkunda Lake Trek in Nepal is a holy lake located in the Langtang region of Nepal. This can be categorized as a short, easy, and scenic trek situated near Kathmandu. The trek offers panoramic scenery of Mt. Langtang range, Himal Chuli 7893m, Mt. Manaslu 8156m, and Ganesh Himal range as well as often chance to see Annapurna Range on a clear day. Gosainkunda Lake is a placid lake considered Holily sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists. The locals pay homage on a pilgrimage journey every year in the month of August.

Gosainkunda Lake Trek with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition starts after an hour’s drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal. The ascending walk through rhododendron forests continues to reach our first overnight stay at Chisapani. Scenic hill station Chisapani offers magnificent views of Langtang to Jugal Himal mountain ranges.

Then our journey heads towards Gul Bhanjyang bypassing several villages of various ethnic groups such as Tamang, Chhetri, Brahmins, and Newars. Next, we follow the trail to Magen Goth and then to Phedi. After Phedi, we follow along ascending the trail to Lauribinayak by the crossing of the Lauribinayak La Pass 4165/13661ft. From the pass, we can have great views of Mt. Manaslu, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and other famous mountains.

Likewise, after exploring the beautiful lake Gosainkunda, we descend to Chandan Bari and then to Dhunche. During the descending walk, we cross rhododendron forests, villages, paddy fields, terraces, and several charming villages.
