Trip Introduction:

Dhorpatan Jumla Trek is in a public eye for the last few decades. This is a lavish, publicly admired, and celebrated trekking destination in western Nepal. This trek features Dhorpatan National Park and Wildlife Reserve. Dhorpatan Valley Trek is the most sought-after trek because of the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve. Besides that, the valley offers glorious Tibetan Settlement, High Mountain Passes, River, Valleys, etc.

Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve was established in 1983. It covers an area of 1325 square kilometers. It is a popular choice for travelers for hunting blue sheep and other wild animals with a license issued by the Department of National Park and Wildlife. This is the only hunting reserve in Nepal. The Reserve protects snow leopard, Ghoral, Thar, Serow, Himalayan Black Bear, Wild Boar, Barking Deer, Mouse, Hare, Langur Monkey, Red Panda, etc. Therefore, this is the golden platform to study wild lives in Nepal. In addition to this, This National Park is rich in vegetation including pine, fir, oak, rhododendron, birch, spruce, and Juniper.

Dhorpatan Jumla Trek is one of the most difficult treks in Nepal because it is long. It has extreme landscapes. This trek features Sheng Khola Valley, Hurikot, Mauri Lagna Pass, and Jumla Valley. Besides that this trekking features a small community of indigenous Kham Magar people as well as Tibetan Refugee. Similarly, the region offers traces of the historic civilizations of the Khas People in the middle ages. The most enchanting aspect of the trek is the undulating pasturelands and traditional handicrafts.

Dhorpatan Jumla Trek with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition begins in the Baglung district of western Nepal. We will have a luxurious ride in a tourist bus up to Baglung via Pokhara. Then, we shall have a steady trek every day for about a month. Since it is one of the remote trekking destinations; there won’t be teahouses and lodges. Therefore, the whole trekking is a camp trekking. If you are planning a trip to the western flank of Nepal, you can remember us. We are a professional and government-licensed trekking house in Kathmandu. We don’t leave any stone unturned to satisfy you.
